The History of Custer Products
Brad Custer started Custer Products in 1993 after 15 years of managing a testing laboratory. He recognized a need for trusted, dependable lighting solutions that provide visibility and safety for truck drivers, farmers, boaters, RVers, and more. Ten years later, Brad partnered with Todd Reish to further expand our production and technical support capabilities. Since then, we have continued our history of solving our customers’ lighting needs with innovative, top-of-the-line lights. Today, we manufacture and distribute a wide variety of lighting products through a worldwide network of distributors.
Every light we build reflects the values that have guided Custer Products for over 30 years — a commitment to safety, reliability, and performance, backed by a proud history as a United States manufacturer. Our core focus keeps us centered on what matters most: equipping the people who keep towing, agriculture, safety, snow and ice, and RV operations running strong.
This year, that focus takes on added meaning as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with our Special Edition lineup — select products featuring a bold blue case, red lenses, and an American flag decal. Explore the collection to see how we’re marking three decades as a proud American manufacturer.
Community Involvement
Custer Products and its employees love to make a difference in the communities in which we live and work. We must be good citizens, supporting good organizations and causes. We’re an equal opportunity employer, and offer career development and advancement opportunities. We love to work with Weaver Industries and the Summit County Development Disabilities Board to hire hard-working, passionate workers who help us with packaging and other tasks. We couldn’t do what we do without them.
